We went in for the final ultrasound this afternoon to check on their growth and get an estimate of their weight. Even I could tell that she wasn't going to get any good pictures since it looks like they're crammed in there. Anyhow, their weight estimates are: Ava = 7lbs 5 ozs and Jacob = 6 lbs 5 ozs.
Holy Mother of God. I am carrying around about 14 lbs of baby. They need to come on out already.
I also had my first non-stress test (apparently I should have been having these for awhile, but I slipped through the cracks). No big deal to me though. They just hook me up to a monitor and trace the baby's heart rates for about 30 minutes to make sure they're fine when they roll over or kick or whatever. I could have told them that without all the wait and discomfort.
Otherwise, everyone is fine and I'm due back to for another OB appointment next week. I'm seriously praying for my water to break any time now so I can start to walk like a human once again.
