Jacob and Ava joined us on June 2 at 10:38 and 10:39 pm. After almost two days of hard labor and 4 hours of pushing, Jacob just wasn't going to cooperate and I had to have a c-section.
Jacob came in at a small but healthy 5 lbs. 2 oz. (on the right in the pic)
Ava was a rather robust 6 lbs. 10 oz. (on the left in the pic)
We all got to leave the hospital after 5 days (they were fine but I had a few issues), and so far it's been tiring, but good. They don't cry a whole lot and seem to be very curious about everything around themselves. My mom is here so hubby and I are getting quality sleep at night while she takes care of nighttime feedings. I'll post more of the gory details later for all of my pregnant/parental friends who are interested in such things (everyone else can just skim past those TMI posts).
