Long story short: I started going in in labor around lunchtime on Thursday and we went to the hospital around 2am yesterday. I was dilated to about 3cm so they sent me home after about 4 hours to walk a bit and see if they would come on stronger. We went back to the hospital around 4 pm when they told us that it looked like labor had stopped on its own. So now we just go about life as usual and wait for things to start up again. No big. The Doc could feel the top of Jacob's head during the internal exam so we're guessing the big pop will happen sometime next week. But again, who knows.
A friendly reminder to all of our friends and family whom we love dearly. Stop calling, especially if you hear we've gone to the hospital. We feel bad ignoring your calls, being wrapped up and all in what's happening around us with the doctors, nurses and everlasting tests. Trust us that we'll let everyone know as soon as possible (with pictures!) when the twins get here. And just because we don't answer doesn't mean we're at the hospital giving birth. We're exhausted already, and sometimes we just have to let phones ring.
