Another Growth Check Ultrasound

And no one cooperated. So there are no cool profile shots or even any facial shots. Rats!

The picture to the left is of Ava. You can see her head pointed down towards the right-hand corner. Her hands are smack in the middle of the screen kind of bunched up. That's one knee bent up on top of her hand.

She's currently weighing in at a robust 1 lb 11 oz.

Jacob is next giving up a spectacular view of his foot. Woooooo. At least I can see what's been kicking the hell out of my ribs. Nice.

He's weighing in at a respectable 1 lb. 7 oz.

They're both doing just dandy. Their heart rates are in the normal range, their blood flow is good, and they're measuring right on target. I'm scheduled for another look-see in four weeks. Their weight should have doubled by then (and I'm sure I'll be waddling even more).

I certainly have hobbit feet lately, but I can still get around fairly easily so there's no reason for me to stop working. Sleep is always punctuated by numerous trips to the bathroom, but I still feel pretty good most days. Ian and I are trying to get in a bunch of weekend getaways while we still can, and I get a prenatal massage every other week. I highly recommend these to everyone who's pregnant. I can actually walk normally for a few days after I have one. It rocks!

Another OB appointment in 2 weeks and Ian and I will sign up for the infant CPR class and the birthing seminar class soon. I'm sure that class (with all of the obligatory labor and delivery videos) will be a highlight of our existences.
